Attention: School Superintendents

Out of concern for the health and well-being of all youth, the American College of Pediatricians mailed a letter to all public school superintendents in the United States on April 1, 2010.
The purpose of this letter was to inform school policy makers of a new Web resource, www.FactsAboutYouth.com, created by the College and other professional health organizations to clarify the proper approaches to youth with non-heterosexual attractions.

The mission of the Facts About Youth project is to advance a school environment in which all students will experience the opportunity to achieve optimal health and safety.

Read the Letter, the Fact Sheet, and the Press Release on the subject.
